Gratton makes Schafer his fist signing

Defenceman Evan Schafer is the first signing for Edinburgh Capitals coach Brad Gratton. Evan Schafer is 6'2", weighs 225 lbs and was a 4th roud pick, 105 overall, in the NHL entry draft to Florida Panthers in 2004. He has spent the last four seasons playing for Univeristy of Saskatchewan in the CWUAA.

I don't think they will win the league. But a top 4 finish? Probably. If they win anything I think it would be the challenge cup, it seems to be the easiest to win. They will make the playoffs final four, possibly getting into the final. Then the Giants will beat them!

Hard to tell until they have their full roster in place but I would think they would finish in around 6th or 7th and not make nthe play off weekend.
