Can't post a link because I'm on my phone, but it's on the official website. Looks a good player & wouldn't mind him in a Steelers jersey but will he be able to replace Joey Talbot?
Thoughts?

Seems to be a good player by looks of his experience, granted, last seasons stats aren't amazing, but stats can be misleading.

I'm not sure that publishing a story like this is a good move, unless he is already signed, sealed and delivered! Egg on face time if it falls through.

I think the Steelers have a habit of doing this. During one of the GB games Simmsey said we had signed a British defenceman & it would be announced the following week. It never did get announced & we officially found out about 5 weeks later that it was Kevin Phillips who had since decided to return to Braehead.
Also, 2 weeks ago we were told there would be 2 signings announced in that week, Legue was one & I assume the other was meant to be Domish, however he changed his mind at the last minute.
I don't think it's a bad idea to release statements like this as it's good to know who we are looking at signing, I just think we seem to jump the gun a bit sometimes & it wouldn't surprise me if some of the news for next week changed by then.
