I am gonna do a game thread for each Giants game from now on. Do you think it's a good idea? Feel free to do so for the other teams! This should be a cracking game! Giants first home game, they will be looking for a win, especially after the horrific record that we had against Coventry last season, but let's not talk about that! We are all expecting to see 'The Hoff' floor Smith, and hopefully we will get the win. Paul Thompson will of course be looking to improve on the embarrassing result from Sunday against Nottingham.

It was a fantastic game! The Hoff was superb, he could have had a Gordie Howe hat-trick had a blaze player been brave enough to challenge him!
Shields and C. Hemmingway didn't have a great game. Shieldsy wasn't his usual self and Hemmingway isn't living up to what Doug said about him. B. Hemmingway was good tonight but the line of Peacock, Garside and Welch was fantastic!
Our D looked very solid, Mason and Cook had a great game, Gleed was good as was Seeley, Hoffman was outstanding and Wally didn't get a shift.
Can't wait to see the result tomorrow night!
